Hispanic Heritage Month Project

My 1st Grader went home one day last month holding a piece of paper detailing his project in school. He is to make a project that he will present in his class about Hispanic culture, or anything related to Hispanics in celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month. After Googling and searching over the web, we came up to an idea of creating a three-dimensional map of Mexico featuring regional cuisine.

My son was so proud of his project. He liked working on play dough and turning it into something like the little boat and the octopus.
