Asymmetrical vs. Symmetrical

Asymmetrical refers to figures where both sides of a central line are not identical. There is an irregularity or imbalance in the spatial pattern or shape or arrangement of an object or figure.

Symmetrical refers to figures where there is balance in the spatial pattern of an object or figure. In Geometry, there are reflection symmetry, point symmetry, and rotational symmetry.
