Fractions

Our world is full of fractions. We share things such as food, property, time, feelings, like practically everything! In school, we learn fractions in many different ways like the use of manipulative, pictorial forms, and writing fractions with numerator and denominator. We write and represent fractions. We add and subtract like and unlike fractions. We compare fractions whether it is greater than, equal to, or lesser than. We compose and decompose fractions. We use benchmark fractions. I will be posting and sharing later some lesson plans for teaching fractions.

For now, I am sharing some anchor charts that I am using in my classroom to help reinforce students' learning about fractions.
